Hannah's Churchill Fellowship

Hannah's Churchill Fellowship was awarded in 2023 and she travelled in to 4 US States in 2024.

The Mercer's Company funded the trip to research 'Poetry In America', run by the inspirational Dr Lisa New and her fantastic team, which brings poetry alive on screen and in classrooms across America.

Bringing back what she learnt, Hannah produced her CF report 'The Power of Poetry in Education' which calls for poetry as a separate subject and GCSE on the UK National Curriculum.
